In order to place an order from www.kathmandumart.com, there are few steps explained as follows:
1. Registration:
You have to be registered user in order to purchase an item. If you are not registered then you can simply click on "New User" on top right side of our homepage. There are only few steps for the registration. After you complete registration form, you will be asked to enter your relative's names and their Date of Birth or Anniversary during the registration so that we can remind you for your loved ones birthday or Anniversaries. A registered user can simply login using their username and password on top right hand corner of our homepage. A registered user will have all the addresses saved of their loved ones once user sends the gift. All the items in the shopping cart will automatically be saved once you add any item in the shopping cart, so that there is an option for you to buy those items later on without wasting your time. A registered user will also receive a bonus point from us every time the user purchases an item from our website. Bonus point can be redeemed for free gifts.

2. Selection of an item:
You can select an item from our categories on left hand side of our homepage. There are numbers of sub-categories to make it easier to select the gift item. You will also find a special occasion category on right hand side of our homepage in order to save your time choosing gift item for different occasion like Anniversary, Birthday, Graduation & special gifts etc.
You can select any item to purchase by clicking on "Buy Now" Button located under the preferred item. You will be notified the content of the shopping cart by a new window showing you the content of the cart. Just click on continue shopping to add more items. If you want to get more information about the item or view a bigger picture, you can click on the "Details" Button under the preferred item.

3. Cart Contents:
You can view cart contents to check what items are chosen by simply clicking shopping cart on top left corner. You can tick the check box to remove any items by clicking "update" button. Your Cart Content will be saved until you purchase the item. You can continue placing an order by clicking "Checkout" button on top left hand corner.
Note: Minimum order requirement for local customer is NRS 500 and customers abroad is US $10.00

4. Delivery Details:
By Default, Delivery address will be same as the billing address. But you can add any new addresses by simply filling a recipient form, which will be automatically saved in your address book for saving your time in near future. You can select the desired delivery date and the small note for the recipient. Click on "Next" button to continue shopping.

5. Payment Details:
a) For Local Customers (orders placed from Nepal):
Local Customer can select C.O.D (Cash on Delivery) or Direct Deposit into our bank account to continue. You will be informed for re-confirmation via email. You do need to re-confirm via email or Telephone. Local Customer making payment through Direct Deposit must fax the official bank receipt for the confirmation. Orders will be dispatched upon confirmation of a successful transfer of correct amount into our account.

b) For International Customers (orders placed from Abroad):
Customers placing order from Abroad need to select Credit Card. As soon as you select credit card you will be automatically forwarded to our secure site for payment. You will be asked to fill the credit card details. You need to click "Submit" button to continue. Your payment will be processed automatically if the entered information matches as on your credit card like your credit card details and address details. Once the payment process is completed successfully, you will receive an e-mail receipt from Authorize.net and you will also receive an e-mail from kathmandumart.com with your purchase details.
